About Reviews
I've been accused of being a bit soft on films.
Guilty as charged. For the most part, I enjoy movies enough to always look for the good things, even if it wasn't gangbusters. This also fits in with our mission statement, of trying to shy away from the prevailing nerd rage so easily available on the internet. Yes, we could be snarky and tell you how much we hate some movies. (And believe us, there are a handful of them that I could rant for a LONG time on.) But in the end, it's just not what I want to do. If you want snark, go check out HISHE or Honest Movie Trailers or Red Letter Media, or Furious Fanboys etc... |
(And yes, we enjoy those sites too! This isn't an us vs them thing, it's simply about trying to fill a niche that doesn't feel like it's being filled.) Rest assured if I don't like a film, I will be honest and tell you I didn't like it. And as always, this is just my opinion. Feedback is always welcome. :)

Recent Reviews
The sheer weight of the embedded videos was lagging this page down to unusability, so we are just listing our most recent reviews here and direct you to Letterboxd for all the rest.
A note about CORRECT alphabetization:
- All reviews (spoiler free two minute OR retro reviews of older films) are filed together. Retro Reviews are marked in gold.
- We never file anything under A, AN, or THE. Move to the next word in the title.
- If a movie has a Roman Numeral in the title, treat it like a number and not a letter.
- If a film is part of a series or franchise, treat it like a number. Solo: A Star Wars Story should be filed between Star Wars Episode III and IV.
- Treat any punctuation in a title like a space. G-Force is "G (SPACE) Force" and filed at the beginning of the letter, not after Geostorm.
- Numbers are filed under the # tab, in numeric order. (So 9 comes before 300 comes before 1941 comes before 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea for example.) However, if the title is spelled out, like Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, it's located alphabetically.
